Dialux 4 Intermediate (Interior)

This course is an intermediate-level course for DIALux 4.  Delegates will be guided through practical tasks to develop understanding and experience in using the software.

This course is ideal for people who have already completed the DIALux 4 Foundation course, or have some basic understanding of the software, as it builds on that knowledge and applies it to more advanced interior lighting scenarios.  This includes:

  • Facility Managers

All delegates are provided with a comprehensive manual covering the material included in this unit and additional tutor support, serving as a valuable point of reference after completion of the course.

    • Constructing room elements
    • Bespoke calculation surfaces
    • Aiming and adjusting luminaires
    • Using the furniture library
    • Applying textures & colour
    • Inserting windows & assigning properties
    • Creating control groups & light scenes
    • Introduction to daylight design
    • Creating bespoke objects
    • Raytracing
