Education & Healthcare

There has been a great deal of research in recent years with regard to the benefits to our health and well-being of good lighting.

With the discovery of a third (non-visual) photoreceptor in the eye in 2003, much has been explained.  Through this receptor, light controls our stress and sleep hormones, dictating our state of alertness.

This research is especially relevant in the fields of health and education.  With a direct influence on our personal well-being, it plays a key role in assisting the recovery of the sick and to stimulate chldren to maximise their learning skills.
